This profile is made up of a core set of metadata elements and an additional set of metadata elements, of specific importance to the African region, that are identified by a consensus of countries within the region.
This workshop provides a forum for an open discussion by attendees from across Africa to input metadata requirements from their organizations. Workshop attendees should survey their organizations: customers, co-workers, providers, and users to determine metadata requirements as input to ensure their metadata requirements will be met by the African Metadata Profile.
